It is safe to say that all of us like to listen to stories; perhaps some of you are excellent storytellers.

I love to hear, to watch or to read a good story. It doesn’t matter to me whether they are facts or fiction. My all-time favourite stories are fairy tales; I used to love them as a child and I still love them now.

Stories have the quality to stay with us forever. No matter how old you were when you heard your first story you will never forget it.

However, what you need to have in mind as far as telling story is concerned is the kind of story you tell yourself about yourself.

Perhaps you already know that the only real time we live our life is in the now moment. You don’t live in the past because it’s gone and you don’t live in the future either because it hasn’t happened yet.

You live in every now moment.

It is in the now moment that life happens.

It is in the now moment that you make decisions and choices.

It is in the now moment that you behave according to what is going on at the time.

When you tell stories to yourself about yourself bear in mind that you act according to what’s happening in every now moment. This way you will know that you are not the villain, you are not the witch and you are not the hero either.

You are all of them altogether; you are yourself.

So let’s take action right now.

Remind yourself on a daily basis that you live your life in every now moment.

Remind yourself that you behave according to what’s going on in your life in every now moment.

And then tell stories to yourself about yourself that match your every now moment.

You tell these stories not as a villain or a hero, but just as yourself because you know that the next now moment is just around the corner and things can change; things do change.

If in this very now moment you think you are the villain, then let’s have a chat.
