They say you find everything you want on the other side of Fear!
Now I have a question for you:
Do you know what you want?
One of the exercises I give my clients is to make a list of 5 things they want.
And it can be anything they want in any area of their life.
It can be in their career, family or relationships.
It could be a new house or a car, literally anything.
More often than not I get a list of what they don’t want.
Or I get told “I don’t know” or “I’m not sure”.
And that is the problem right there.
Not so much the fear but the not knowing what you want.
Not knowing means that you are stuck on the side of fear.
And as you know so well, when you are stuck you can’t take action.
And you are afraid of going to the other side because you don’t know what you want.
You don’t even know if what you want is there on the other side of fear.
So what’s the solution?
The solution is to focus on what you want.
Knowing what you want gives you the motivation to cross to the other side of fear.
And when I say focus on what you want it is not just using your mind.
Use your whole body, use all your senses.
This will help guide you to the other side of fear.
And that is where you will find what you want.
For example, think of something small.
When you think about what you want, think what it looks like.
Think of what it smells like.
What it sounds like.
Think what it feels like.
And real exaggerate those feelings.
This is how your five senses guide to the other side of fear.
That is where you know you will find exactly what you want.
And that, of course, brings us to this week’s challenge.
I want you to write down five things you want.
And just to make it a little bit more exciting pay attention to the feelings.
Really use all your senses to know exactly what you want.
And make it bigger.
So you are sure of what you are going to find when you get to the other side of fear.
And of course, if you feel when you are doing this exercise you are stuck.
